  1. First of all, this is an awesome exposure…the textures and tones in the wood are fantastic. But what really makes this photo for me is the mystery of what is inside that window. I could stare at this for quite awhile.

  2. I love this one! I agree with Matt about the mystery of the window. I like the contrast in the patterns of the wood. Very sharp!

  3. Wonderful! I love the tones and how clearly you can see every whorl in the wood… And that window is incredible–I love the shape and the cloudiness of it. Great composition, too!

  4. This is awesome. Great tones, great composition. Really interesting shot.

  5. Wow, spooky photo — love this :)

  6. Really nice shot! Had to doublecheck I was on your site, what a departure from your urban shots!

Such rigid geometry in what seems like would exist in a rural setting. Definitely some ominous overtones with the haze on the window. Nice shot!

  8. I like the simplicity and composition. That window makes it look like it was shot on film too. Great stuff.

  9. So mysterious..
matt is right, four of us were looking at this picture for quite a while just looking at the mysterious window.
This photograph gotta be our Image Of The Day (04.05.2005).
    Congratulations!

  10. beautiful scale of grey tones. i love how each panel has its own unique and cool pattern and texture.

  11. The wood really has a cool texture and it’s perfectly framed. The b&w adds to the feel of the shot…

I like this one, it makes you want to know what is going on behind the window.
