The same groyne as on milou’s blog. Taken on our recent trip to Keyhaven and about half an hour latter.
It is interesting to see the same shot by different photoamateurs. What I like in your version is the lines (water and groyne) pointing into deep of sea.
This conveys motion well. The sky looks a bit noisy. I like the blue theme too. Cheers
very nice colors.. great work..
Nice use of the shutterspeed to create the line that direct you in the picture. Good work!
The foreground mix of streaks of water and gravel works really well.
Magnificent wave capture. Tripod I assume?
selyfriday: thanks, yes a tripod.
joshua mahar: thanks, I’ve sorted the sky out.
Beautiful image. love the softness of the water.

Wow, very effective!!! Love the composition , colors, perspective…
Lovely photo. The title sounds painful though. ;)

Gorgeous blue tones. The softness om this photo is breathtaking.

Wow, I love the cool tones and the sweeping foreground as the water pulls back out to sea.

You’ve caught the essence of Keyhaven beach here. Handsome toning too.
