Dungeness Abode
Typical of the abodes at Dungeness, though very untypical weather.
This was taken on my second trip to Dungeness with Jamey and Milou in the midst of depression Sylvia.
It was so cold we didn't last 10 minutes outside of the car.

nice tonal values here. surprised that your lens did not frost over.

Well, that certainly sums up the day. Nice little splash of colour in the red of the door and the yellow of the boat, and the old railway sleeps provide a good lead in line.

What a great shot !! Just like Milou said: it’s great with that red and yellow in it. I’m just wondering wath those “logs” are in the front ??

i love the bleakness and the red in the door hinting of warmth and security within.

Changed my mind – they’re not railway sleepers but old Texan bars \o>

Fascinating scene, as others have mentioned the splash of red and yellow really add to this image – well done.

It was definitely one of those days… Was of work ill for a week afterwards and only just getting back to full strength now. Definitely better than any of my shots. Not processed any yet.

Really nice shot, I have just seen 30 days of night, and this shot looks a lot like the place they live in the movie!
