  1. This is an amazing shot.

It really reminds me of a shot I posted a long time ago (http://photo.shoq.com/index.php?dailypic=432) but I like yours more! Very nice.

  2. Wow, this is truly beautiful. Wonderful job capturing the motion.

  3. Nice capture of the second wave, smooth calming colours too. Nice.

  4. Oh I’m famous :D Just my sort of cuppa from the blur to the shingle to the wave caught just on the cusp. Nice light too!

makes me homesick for the beach. the soft sweeping movement of the pulling tide and the colors are absolutely wonderful! there is something very refreshing here. great capture!

  6. Absolutely gorgeous. Nice job.

  7. Truly stunning photograph! I’ve been surfing photoblogs a lot and this one more than stands out. I just love that twirl of foam on the sand, quite a beautiful wave there too! You sure know the art of capturing feelings on “film”. If you would like to contribute some pictures to our site for artistic photographers, we would be thrilled! Our screeners will give you useful feedback on every photo you upload and we will post your photoblog-address so that even more people will have the pleasure of finding it! This usually means a lot of new visitors! Hopefully you could find some inspiration there too. Take care! // Ralf

  8. Absolutely stunning! And remarkably up my street!

  9. I would echo all that has been mentioned wonderful shot and soul stirring to boot….

  10. well done Andy; it’s really wonderful, I do like the contrast of colors in sky and sea and nice harmony of forms

  11. I think the pattern of the foam and water in the sand is the feature that makes this shot somewhat different. That’s what catches my eye in this one. Lovely photo.

  12. Great shot, the retreating waves make this shot for me.

  13. That’s a really amazing view with these tones and movement. Like it very much!
