I’d agree with Catherine in saying that it’s very idyllic. Great div of horizontal values and great depth to the perspective of the image.

Now this is the reason wide angle lenses were invented. Rocking sky and perfect colour contrasts from the sky to the water, especially with a divide between the two.

  29. Very nice movement in this frame. The wide angle perspective makes it look like the clouds are just jetting by.

  30. Beautiful wide angle! I love the colours!

  31. Wow, I don’t know what I love more the water or the sky. I think I need to go there and contemplate the question FROM the water looking into the sky. It’s so beautiful.

  32. : ) you went to al the right locations on your trip! I shoot here too, although you have a wider lens than my Oly permits, and a great eye for a shot. Nice work Andy!

  33. holy crap
    superfantastique

  34. Love the colors….wish I was there.

  35. Amazing show and colors.

  36. Congratulations! See you in Explore!

  37. Woooow! How do you achieve that effect? It seems like the whole image is going -wooosh- into the center.

  38. ieatstars: cheers, it’s the effect that an ultra wide angle lens produces.

  39. Wow, this is great!!
    Simply perfect.
