1 hr exposure in my garden. In the centre is the North Star which never moves as it lies nearly in a direct line with the axis of the Earth’s rotation and as a result ended up insanely bright, I toned it down a bit.

nice. always wanted to these but living in manhattan its almost impossible – with all the light pollution around.

Very interesting! At first glance I thought you had set the camera to a low ISO and rotated the camera a little, while taking the photo. :)))))
